Magnificent floors and unique details

The Shepard House

A view of a corner of the turret room.  The windows are all curved with curved glass.  The floor is an example of the parquet floors throughout the house -- each room in a different pattern.  The turret room in the third floor has a cathedral ceiling extending into the upper spire, making it a truly unique place.

This is a corner of the first floor living room.  The stained glass windows and wood paneling have been added to separate this room from the  parlor.  Current plans are to remove the divider, and use the parlor as a "tea" room.  The walls are graced with movie legend paintings done by Paris Corporale, the previous owner, and while the room is planned to be redone, the pictures are shown as part of the history of the place.  The large painting has been restored, and will be displayed on one of the walls.
