This is one of the five fireplaces.  Notice the beautiful tile work on the hearth and the face of the fireplace.

Eating area of the kitchen.  This wood stove  heats this end of the house at this point. All the chimneys had to have new flues installed, as well as extensive chimney work.  What may have been the old coal room has been converted to the laundry room beyond the glass door.

New granite counters, and cabinets have made for a small but functional cooking area.
